Sales and Marketing Associate FT:
Oak Hammock is an upscale retirement community seeking an experienced professional to join our sales and marketing team. Must have 3-5 years with high end intangible sales and long sales cycles in CCRCs,financial planning, fundraising in a not-for-profit or real estate (no license required). Must be familiar with computer database lead tracking systems. Emphasis on relationship building and extraordinary customer service skills. Must be a goal oriented self starter with superior communication skills and works well within a sales team. Bachelor’s Degree required.
Community Services Department
This position is responsible for creating the first impression of the community via telephone and in person for members, families, and guests. Assists community members of Oak Hammock at the University of Florida in obtaining the services they desire, coordinating events and directing them to appropriate resources, as situation requires. Assist with transportation services, as needed.
Two years college or business course work; college degree preferred. Familiarity with life care, university environment, and experience working with older adult population preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (will be tested). Training in tourism or hospitality management is an asset. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong knowledge of local community, area and region. Strong problem solving, organizational and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively to staff, members, families, and community. Valid Florida Driver’s License required; CDL preferred (must obtain within 90 days of employment).
Dining Services Department
Store Clerk -PT (Friday-Sunday)
Manages the day to day operations of the Convenience Store/Ice Cream Parlor. Deals with community members, guests and staff. Is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the store. High School diploma or equivalent required. One year of retail clerk experience required; preferably in a specialty retail establishment. Décor and craft experience helpful; POS experience helpful. Excellent communication and customer service required.
This position requires an individual who is reliable, responsible and able to commit to the required schedule of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Friday) and 9:30 am – 5:00 pm (Saturday and Sunday).
Hiring wait staff professionals committed to providing our members with an excellent dining experience. Previous wait staff experience preferred, not required! We are willing to train the right candidate to join our team; strong customer service skills a must.
Able to work flexible hours (including weekends/holidays). We really need individuals who can work Tuesdays and Thursdays. Shifts are split 10:45 am -- 2:00 pm and 4 pm -- 8:30 pm. No late nights!!
Housekeeping Services Department
Primarily responsible for maintaining all floors, in public areas as assigned at Oak Hammock. Public areas are defined as entrances, lobbies, parlors, offices, lounges, corridors, stairwells, laundries, trash rooms, restrooms, storage areas, activity, dining rooms, and service hallways. High School diploma or equivalent. Six months to one year of practical experience. Must be able to read and understand printed instructions for the use of chemicals and cleaning agents. Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Able to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
Housekeeper – FT
Seeking experienced Housekeeper to join our team. Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeper is primarily responsible for the daily cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned common areas, hallways, member units, rest rooms, dining rooms, offices and furniture in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines.
Health Services Department
RNs and LPNs
Seeking experienced long term care nurses, currently licensed in Florida, to work in our fast-paced and demanding skilled nursing unit. Proficiency in computers is required, as successful candidates must be willing and able to learn electronic medical records process. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solving, ability to multi-task and strong customer service skills are required. Hiring experienced long-term care CNAs to provide care for our members under the supervision of the RN/LPN in the skilled nursing unit. Computer skills, attention to detail, problem solving, ability to multi-task and strong customer service skills are required. Oak Hammock has low member to staff ratios; staff are able to provide more individualized attention to the members.
Compensation is based on years of experience and we offer a competitive benefits package.
